New York Jets 2018 Preseason Schedule Revealed

The New York Jets will face the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles in the 2018 preseason.

New York will kick off the preseason at home against the Falcons (date TBA). Perhaps what stands out most on the schedule, though, is a nationally-televised Week 2 tilt at Washington. ESPN will broadcast the Jets’ game at Washington Thursday, August 16.

The Jets played at Washington in the 2016 preseason and lost 22-18. They also hosted the Falcons during the regular season last year, when Atlanta was defending its NFC title, and lost another close one, 25-20.

The latter two opponents are no surprise to any Jets fan. The Jets will serve as the home team in this year’s “Snoopy Bowl” at MetLife Stadium, Week 3 of the preseason (date TBA). They will travel to the home of the Super Bowl LII champion Eagles on Thursday, August 30.
