About the staff
Although hailing from just outside of Chicago, Barbato followed his father’s Staten Island roots and became a Jets fan. Barbato currently covers the NFL for The Atlanta Journal Constitution and previously covered Big Ten and SEC football. He has worked in the sports department of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, interned at 540 ESPN Milwaukee and served as the Marquette men’s basketball beat reporter for two seasons. He has also written for AOL Sports and Bleacher Report. Barbato graduated with a degree in journalism and marketing from Marquette University in 2015. Follow him on Twitter, @RealMattBarbato.

Zielonka is studying for an M.J. in journalism at the University of Maryland and writing about local sports for the Capital-Gazette (Annapolis, Md.), part of the Baltimore Sun Media Group. He previously wrote about the Jets for iSportsWeb. A 2016 graduate of DeSales University with a double major in communication and sport management, Adam has held internships with the United States Golf Association and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
